Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) has been increased from Rs 5 lakh to Rs. 13 lakh crore in Just nine years. Because of the government constant efforts to provide 24×7 hours quality electricity, state’s installed power generation capacity has been increased to 18,453 MW from 7,778 MW in the same period.
Irrigation and Water Management: Telangana faced water scarcity and irrigation challenges before its formation. However, the state government launched the ambitious “Mission Kakatiya” and “Mission Bhagiratha” projects to rejuvenate and restore minor irrigation tanks and provide piped drinking water to every household, respectively.
