Telangana Congress committee has released it’s manifesto for the state assembly elections 2023.
AICC president Mallikarjuna kharge has released the manifesto booklet, named as “Abhayahastam“.
Six guarantees along with some new promises have been included in the newly released manifesto.
Highlights of Telangana Congress Manifesto
1. As per the aspirations of the people of Telangana, we will provide full scale democratic administration.
2. “Praja Darbar” will be held every day at Chief Minister’s Camp Office.
3. Mother/ father/ Wife of Martyrs, who fought in first or second phases of Telangana movement, will be provided Rs. 25,000 monthly honorary pension, and one of their family will be given a government job.
4. Cases against the Telangana activists will be withdrawn and allot them 250 yard housing plots.
5. Farmers crop loans upto Rs. 2 lakh will be waived off.
6. Interest free crop loans up to Rs.3 lakhs will be provided.
7. 24 hours uninterrupted free electricity will be supplied for agriculture.
8. A comprehensive insurance scheme for all major crops.
8a. We will abolish pharma cities as per the order of the High Court with a referendum.
9. A judicial inquiry will be conducted by the sitting High Court Judge into the corruption and irregularities in the construction of the Kaleswaram Lift Irrigation Project.
10. We will fill all vacant teacher posts within 6 months, after announcing Mega DSC notification.
11. We will release the annual job calendar and fill up 2 lakh vacant posts in a transparent manner.
12. Free Wi-Fi facility will be provided to every student.
13. We will increase the current share of education budget from 6% to 15%.
14. Monthly salary of mid day meal scheme workers in all government schools will be increased to Rs. 10,000.
15. About Six thousand closed schools will be reopened with better facilities.
16. Four more IIITs will be set up on the lines of Basara Triple IT (IIIT)
17. Increase the limit of “Arogya Sree” scheme to 10 lakhs and make this scheme applicable for knee surgery also.
18. In place of Dharani portal, “Bhumata” portal will be introduced and justice will be given to all the farmers who have lost their land rights.
19. A “Land Commission” will be set up to deal with all land rights issues.
20. Full land rights will be provided to the beneficiaries on nearly 25 lakh acres distributed to the poor through land reforms.
21. As per the 73rd and 74th constitutional amendments, the three tier local bodies will be strengthened and entrusted with functions, funds and management responsibilities.
22. Gram Panchayat ward members will receive an honorarium of Rs. 1500 will be given. Similarly, Honorary Pension will be given to Ex-Sarpanch, MPTC members.
23. Immediate payment of three pending DAs to all Government employees and pensioners.
24. Abolish the existing CPS system and implement Old Pension (OPC) scheme for government employees.
25. We will implement the recommendations within 6 months after announcing the new PRC for Government employees and RTC staff.
26. We will immediately pay two PRC dues to the RTC staff.
27. Every auto driver will be provided Rs. 12,000 as financial assistance.
28. All pending traffic challans will be settled with 50% discount (one time settlement).
29. Belt shops will be abolished completely..
30. After classification of SC, 3 new SC Corporations will be established for Madiga, Mala and other SC sub-castes.
31. “caste census” of BCs and make reservations on the basis of population.
32. We will provide 5% reservation for nomads with education and job opportunities.
33. We will set up a ‘BC Bhavan’ in the name of Prof. Jayashankar in every district centre.
34. Janagaon district will be named after Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud.
35. We will set up corporations and allocate adequate funds to all backward castes.
36. Implementation of Sub Plan for Backward Classes (BC).
50. Housing plots will be provided to journalists.
57. Residential Sports School will be established for each district.
58. We will solve all the issues of hume guards along with pay revisions immediately.
59. We will introduce special industrial policy to provide employment to the unemployed and give huge incentives to small and medium scale industries.
60. We will increase the monthly salary of Anganwadi teachers to Rs. 18,000 and bring them under EPF and provide job security.
61. The folk artists who have crossed 50 years will be paid Rs. 3,000 as pension.
62. Osmania Hospital will be recognized as heritage site and will be fully modernized and brought back to its former glory.
63. We will construct new metro lines on LB Nagar – Aram Ghar – Mehdipatnam – BHEL route.
64. We will make Hyderabad a flood-free city and modernize the canals.
65. Penalty on arrears of property tax and house tax will be abolished in Municipal Corporations, Corporations and Gram Panchayats across the State.
66. We will set up Basti Public Schools with all modern facilities in city administration and municipality centres.
