BRS party president and Telangana Chief Minister KCR released the BRS election manifesto after distributing the B forms to the candidates.
He said that some new schemes are being announced while continuing the existing schemes.
Promises mentioned in the BRS manifesto..
- Life insurance policy of Rs.5 lakhs through LIC for 93 lakh BPL families
- Distribution of BPT rice (Small veriety) in ration to white ration card holders, full premium will be paid by the Government.
- Arogyasree scheme limit increased from Rs.5 lakh to maximum Rs.15 lakh
- Asara pensions will be increased by Rs.1,000 in the first year from the existing Rs.2016. It will be Increased to Rs.5,000 in five years
- Disability pension to be increased from Rs.4016 to Rs.6,016 in next five years
- Financial assistance to formers under the scheme of ‘Raithu Bandhu’ will be increased from Rs. 10,000 to Rs.16,000 per acre in five years. First year assistance to be increased to Rs.12,000.
- Rs. 3,000 per month living allowance for eligible poor women
- LPG Gas cylinder will be provided at Rs.400 for eligible poor women
- Housing plots will be allotted to the poor families and Gruha Lakshmi scheme will be continued.
- Establishment of one residential School (Gurukula school) per constituency for upper caste poor.
- A committee will be appointed to study on CPS of employees, decision will be taken based on report
- Formulation of special policy for orphans
